now, lets talk about the trip to USA
forgive me if i dont sound very excited
but for some reason
it didnt felt like US
flew there by Korean Air
took around 20 hours?
dont really remember
managed to finish Season 1 and 2 of Sherlock Holmes
haha
didnt do much there
was at the camp throughout
oh and did i mention
it was freaking cold
as in 2 degree cold
was horrible
but you know what is worse?
its the fact that the day before
it was freaking 32 degree
32 DEGREE
why is there such a big difference???
GOD!
oh
the nature was nice though
you know how in movies
Americans just kinda sit on the grass
but when you try it ib S'pore
it doesnt feel that comfortable
well i realise cause its a different country
as in i prone n the grass throughout
thats how comfortable it is
and also to hide from the wind but i digress
and the animals
the deers hoping right in front of my eyes
the cows grazing
and the hogs with her piglets
cause there aint much tall buildings
you could see the entire horizon
the sunset was amazing
and at night
the stars
at the top of a hill
you could see the mountains
and lake
oh God everything was so beautiful
anyway
lets talk about the trip home
it took like around 28 hours?
from FortSill to Dallas to Houston to Moscow(YES Moscow) and finally back to Singapore
everything was smooth
not much trouble with timings of flights or transits
by the way
not sure if because i dont see much of Caucasians or what
but somehow most of them look gorgeous
oh and in US
i saw a American Asian policeman
he looked so good
it was like those sterotyped AA in movies or drama
anyway
the movies under my belt are as follows:
1.Abraham Lincohn the vampire slayer
(very very very bad x10, so bad that i dont feel bad calling it crap)
2.Dark Shadow
(not that bad, was entertaining)
3.Avengers
(mostly for the sake of watching since i started a bit on my laptop)
4.To Rome With Love
(another really really bad movie)
5.FastGirls
(love inspiring sport moviex, and a track and field one to boot!)
6.Spacebrother
(okay i was running out of movies to watch by this time, but its not half bad)
7.Detachment
(a really really really good movie, though a bit dark? maybe thats why i love it(YES! LUR-VE)
and if you include Constantine and Inception
thats 9 movies on a 28 hour trip
actually if you include on the stuff i had to do
(check in, travelling, window shopping)
i actually slept for 5 hours only
i have no idea how i survived
but it was fun
though a bit scary at first
a DAMN good learning experience if you ask me
