had a horror love comedy story stuck in my head since yesterday night
it began with the idea of what if people dont really notice ghosts
in movies
the ghost also disappear at the side of your vision
or behind you in mirror
but what if the person doesnt notice?
starting from this idea
the story begins with a female ghost trying several times to scare the guy
but the guy is too think headed to notice her
causing the female ghost to complain to her female collegue
the concept for the underworld is that it is a company for ghosts who are unable to move on
and they earned money by scaring people
(like monster inc, yes i noticed)
the convo:
DepressedDrunkFemaleLead 'i have no more ideas how to scare him.
unless you want me to appear right in front of him'
Collegue'maybe that's it. THAT's what you should do."
DDFL thinks about it silently.
The first meeting:
the guy was opening the door when the female ghost appeared right in front of him
and the guy scream the hell out of himself
...and he punched her
she woke up with first aid on her nose and she is lying on a sofa
the guy is making something in the kitchen
when he finally notice her standing behind him
the mystery of why he was able to touch her is resolve by someone in her company
some elderly who say that he has a high spiritual energy blah blah
anyway for some reason they became good friends
they went to movie(horror)
and scared the shit out of someone sitting beside them
and many other stuff
then the villain(all movies need one right?) is some guy who found an artefact
that can force all ghosts to move on
oh the villain is a ghost too
he was scared to death by his death gf
so he wanted to prevent this from happening to other people
turns out
the gf is the female lead
so the woman told the guy all about it
when both of them were alive
the guy cheated and made use of her
badly
so she commited suicide(she got scolded by the guy here, so she tried to give him her scariest face
but the guy refuse to back down)
and then she came back to haunt him
and he died falling down the stairs
and so here we are
at the climax
so they are trying to convince him
the guy was saying that ghosts should be given the chance to finish whatever they need to do
as well as the choice to make the decision to move on
and the woman said sorry
the man say he never blamed her at all since it was his fault in the first place
but then he said then since he went to all the trouble, he might as well
and activate the machine
they tried to stop it but then there was a strong bright light and the scene white out
the man appeared and there's a woman we never see before
the man is preparing food and give to the woman before seeing her off with a kiss
(in the background we can vaguely see a woman)
when the man turns around
the female ghost appear in front of him
he screamed and punched her again
the scene comes back with them chatting over tea
the woman has a black eye
the guy was telling her to visit him without scaring him
the woman say that she has to eat
he ask her when is she moving on
she says that the thing she needs to do now is to find the courage to move on
blah blah blah about recenrt stuff blah blah
